In the classroom there is one common feature on a landscape of technology that doesn’t stop changing: emerging technologies lead to emerging (and exciting) pedagogies. Ewan McIntosh would like lead you through some of the opportunities our students bring to the table, and show how new media can bring in a new type of learning and teaching.

When students can spend 50 hours mastering a computer game why do they struggle to maintain motivation throughout an hour long seminar? When students now spend an average of 200 minutes per night on the computer, how can vocational and school education grab some of that back for learning?
