Introduction by Susan McShane
Sue has worked as a casual teacher with the Canberra Institute of Technology in the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management since 2001. For the past three years Sue has taught online, incorporating new technologies in her teaching such as Wikis and the use of del.icio.us.

Sue joined the Australian Flexible Learning Framework’s, Industry Engagement Project in February 2007. Her role within the Industry Engagement Project is to bring both industry and pedagogical expertise to those industries involved in producing a demonstration for 2007, and also for others wanting to get started in e-learning.

Sue is currently compiling ‘A taste of learning objects’ as a portal from the E-learning for Industry website. This portal will enable RTOs and e-learning developers to showcase a learning object, for business and industry to explore. This portal will be launched at the industry showcase in late November.
